SUMMARY:Weaving Culture into EFT: Embracing Diversity and Therapist Self-Awareness
DESCRIPTION:Take the next step in your journey toward EFT certification with EFCT Core Skills\, an intensive training designed to deepen your expertise in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. \nThis Core Skills training is open to mental health professionals who have completed the EFCT Externship and are ready to refine their skills through in-depth instruction\, hands-on practice\, and individualized feedback. Arizona In-Person Core Skills is a series of four intensive\, two-day trainings with a small group of clinicians designed to deepen your practice of Emotionally Focused Therapy. Each session focuses on specific EFT steps and stages and includes: \n\nInstruction by certified EFT trainer\nLive case consultations\nExperiential exercises\nSmall group supervision\n\nThis training follows the standards set by the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Completion of an EFT Externship is required to attend. Core Skills Training hours may be applied toward ICEEFT certification. \nTraining Schedule\n\nCore Skills #1: May 8th & 9th\nCore Skills #2: June 5th & 6th\nCore Skills #3: July 10th & 11th\nCore Skills #4: August 14th & 15th\n\nTime: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM with an hour lunch \nTotal CE Hours: 48 \nCase Presentation Requirement\nTo receive a Certificate of Completion\, each participant is required to present a 10-minute video case during one of the four weekends. \nWhat You’ll Gain\n\nA deeper understanding of EFT’s core techniques and interventions\nHands-on practice through role-plays and case presentations\nDirect feedback from experienced EFT trainers and supervisors\nLive session observations to enhance clinical application\nA crucial step toward full EFT certification\n\nCancellation Policy\n\nCancellations made 30+ days before the event are refundable minus a $100 admin fee.\nAfter that\, fees are non-refundable.\nYou may defer your registration to the next AzEFT Core Skills series within one year.\n\nDiversity\, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship\nClinicians who have found cost to be a barrier to continuing their training in EFCT — yet are passionate about bringing the power of EFT to underserved populations in the Arizona area — are invited to apply for the DEI Scholarships available for this Core Skills series. As the former President of the AzEFT Board\, Rachel now serves as Past President and is known for her passion in helping therapists master EFT and move through learning blocks.
